Grand Ave. Bike Path - Featured Project:

Prepared reconnaissance report and design plans for a new bike path under Grand Ave. and Garfield Streets in Laramie, WY. Project is currently awaiting funding for construction.

Dutton Creek Resurfacing - Featured Project:

Full Depth Recycling (FDR) project along 7 miles of road in Albany County. Prepared plans and specifications and conducted contract administration for project.

Harmony Lane Overlay:

Prepared plans and specifications for the shoulder widening and overlay of Harmony Road in Albany County, WY. Administered the construction contract.

Fairgrounds Parking Lot Resurfacing:

Designed a new parking lot layout for the Albany County Fairgrounds. Prepared plans and specifictions. Administered the construction contract.

Garrett Road Bridge: move to current projects

Designed the new roadway for a new bridge over the North Laramie River. Prepared contract plans for project. Administered the construction contract.

UW Asphalt and Concrete Repairs 2009 - Featured Project:

As prime consultant for the project, we developed designs for ADA accessibility improvements for 15 different sites on the UW Campus and prepared contract plans for each site.

UW Asphalt and Concrete Repairs 2008:

As a subconsultant to Camp Creek Engineeing developed repaving strategies and prepared contract plans for various parking lot repairs on the UW Campus. In addition, designed four bus stop locations around Campus.

Harper Valley Industrial Site Traffic Study:

As a subconsultant to Johnson Engineering Associates we performed a traffic impact assessment for a proposed commercial development in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Study included estimating the traffic generated by the new development and how that additional traffic would affect the Level of Service for the adjacent roads.

Hat Creek Rd. - Featured Project:

In August 2007 we completed design services to WYDOT for the replacement of a truss bridge in Niobrara County with an RC box culvert. Work included performing geometric design using Geopak software, hydraulic analysis and plans preparation.

UW Asphalt and Concrete Repairs 2007:

As a subconsultant to Camp Creek Engineeing developed repaving strategies and prepared contract plans for various parking lot repairs on the UW Campus.

Bairoil Streets:

As a subconsultant to Camp Creek Engineeing performed pavement thickness design and prepared specifications for concrete paving of several streets.

Equine Meadows Subdivision Traffic Study:

As a subconsultant to Johnson Engineering Associates we performed a traffic impact study for a proposed subdivision in rural Albany County. Study included estimating the traffic generated by the new development and how that additional traffic would affect the Level of Service for the adjacent road.

Superior Streets:

Provided design services to Camp Creek Engineering for the design of 4th Street, Antelope Drive and Horse Thief Lane in the Town of Superior, WY. Project included design of the vertical alignment, drainage structures and earthwork computations.

I-80, Vedauwoo West:

In the Fall of 2004 in cooperation with a WYDOT design team, we prepared contract plans for a roadway resurfacing project on 6.1 miles of I-80 near Laramie. Tasks included computing or verifying all quantities for bid for over 80 bid items, compiling summaries and producing required details. Bids were opened for the project in February 2005.

Sage Drive Paving - Featured Project:

Performed roadway design for reconstruction of Sage Drive near Laramie, WY for Albany County in the Spring of 2003. Design included development of plan and profile drawings using Geopak software, pavement thickness design, hydraulic design of culverts, writing specifications, developing cost estimates, land owner negotiations for construction permits, coordination with utilities and other tasks required to prepare the project for bid. Project was built in the spring of 2004 for a cost of about $255,000. Also performed contract administration and construction staking for project.

Highway Reconnaissance Reports:

Since September 2001 we have written over 30 engineering reports for WYDOT that defined the scope of work for highway and street projects. The reports included, determining existing deficiencies in the physical features, including, horizontal alignment, vertical alignment, surfacing thickness, number and width of lanes, shoulder configurations, fill slopes, right-of-way widths, etc. The physical requirements were then synthesized with the crash history, future traffic volumes, and department policies to determine a recommended course of action. Detailed cost estimates were then computed to establish the project budgets.

Chip Seal Various Roads:

In the Spring of 2003 we developed plans and specifications for the chip sealing of approximately 27 miles of county roads for Albany County. Provided Contract Administration during the Summer 2003 construction by Scherer Construction, LLC.

Crack Seal Various Roads:

Developed plans and specifications in the Spring of 2003 for the sealing of cracks on approximately 22 miles of Albany County roads. Provided Contract Administration during construction in June of 2003 by Highway Improvement, Inc.

Pierce St. Reconstruction:

As sub-consultant, in the Winter of 2001 we provided professional services to the prime consultant on construction traffic control, construction sequencing and bid specifications for the county road reconstruction project. In the summer of 2002 we prepared record construction drawings using a Microstation CADD program.

Pahlow Lane and Varioius County Roads:

Provided general consultation to the Albany County Road Superintendent regarding the impact of a proposed gravel pit on the existing county road. Estimated the time to failure and the estimated cost of repairs that may be required. Provided advise on type of asphalt binder and gradation to use for Rogers Canyon Road.

Pavement Replacement for Shuttle Bus Sites:

Provided pavement thickness design for the prime consultant, Camp Creek Engineering, for the University of Wyoming project in July 2004.
